I scored on some Agaricus osecanus/crocodilanus group mushrooms from my "secret spot", a half-grocery bag full! They looked, from afar, like gleaming white ostrich eggs on the hillside. Cooked some with potatoes, some with pasta, some with eggs, made some soup, gave some to friends, and dried some. --Alison

Thank you for sharing this post with us, all mushrooms belong to the family of fungi, which is neither plant or animal. After continuing research there is evidence that fungi may be more closely related to animals than plants.
